I spend my summers in the North of Spain where the landscapes and seascapes are exhilarating. Living near the shores of New Jersey during the winter months provides daily inspiration. The beach and sky change every day.
Prior to the pandemic I had been working in porcelain at Greenwich House Pottery in NYC. My work is both functional and figurative. I love to decorate wheel thrown pieces with my hand made stamps and animal motifs. I am particularly partial to celadon glazes.
My whimsical little bears illustrate both the every day foibles of life along with reminding us of the plight of our changing climate.
I hope you enjoy looking through my artwork as much as I enjoyed creating it. Have fun!
